Conveyancing Extra Terms
1. The quotations produced on this website are accurate to the best of our ability with the information provided so far. In the vast majority of cases there will be no alterations or amendments required. However, if, when we have full information regarding a case, we discover that there are material factors which would influence the quote provided we will advise you of this.
2. The quotations produced will be valid for a period of one week from the date obtained. After this time, if you have not already instructed us, you will need to obtain a new quotation.
3. Please bear in mind that we have no control over the amount of disbursements you are charged on each case as these are amounts charged by third parties. We cannot guarantee that those third parties will not alter their fees, or that rates of taxation will not change, or, indeed, that new disbursements may become payable as a result of a change in circumstances or legislation.
4. The obtaining of a quote and the submission of a request for us to act on behalf of a client shall not be construed as our acceptance of instructions. Thornton Law Ltd reserves the right to refuse instructions at its discretion. In practice, this will only occur where there is good reason - such as our discovering a conflict of interests.
5. Our agreeing to act on behalf of clients will be subject to clients agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of Business, which will be included within the initial pack of documents supplied clients.
6. Introducers and referrers will also be subject to compliance with the Solicitors' Code of Conduct regarding Business Referrals and will be required to sign an undertaking (details of which can be found elsewhere on this website)
7. By instructing us online through this website, all users will be deemed to be agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and to the Data Protection and Privacy Policy set out below
